Why don't I have any IP addresses allocated to my hosting space? Print

  • 21

IP Addresses are allocated to a hosting space only if that space requires it's own unique IP Address. Most websites are hosted on shared servers, meaning that many websites are hosted on one server, and those sites do not require unique IP addresses. If your website is a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) website, you will require a unique IP address.
